Wow...

WOW!

I didn't know that so many people would really dig this photo, but thats so awesome! Since today, it has had a total view of 20,671! That makes the image the most viewed in my gallery.

And on 6/19, Mr. Ghouldaddy featured it as a daily deviation spotlight! Woooo!

I'm very happy that everyone likes the photo: the colour, the bed and setting, the fun/campyness and ahem...the girls!

We were shooting a whole "I'll take your picture if you take mine" pinup type of set, very implied, and I asked Meg (the photographer) to let us play and take the "traditional MySpace photo" being pretty much holding the camera out in front. It seems that everyone does it. Itake photos like that when nobody is around to take our pic, so we held the cam out, and I cracked my best "cheesy" smile, and Lexi did a lil smirk... and even though the photo was more of a "candid" we were trying to pull - it turned out to be the best!!!

So many thanks to the girls (now our PinUp Dream Team) who put this together. We had such a great time during this photo shoot, that we came up with so many upcoming projects and photo series! I'm happy to finally have my Killer PinUp Photo Family!

PS: I was FINALLY able to read ALL comments...and again thanks to everyone who enjoyed this photo. Lexi and I (as well as the photo crew) appreciate you so much for that. You don't even understand! We completely do!

But I need to bring up the few idiots who thought the photo was "gross" and we (both myself and Lexi) were "fat" and so they found this picture disgusting.

To those few brainwashed fools: you should be ashamed of yourself. ONE: for not remembering what your mother said. If you don't know what that is, I will remind you. "If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all (dumb@ss)" and TWO: for thinking that a natural, curvy, woman is disgusting. Its beautiful. Especially the way we portrayed it in this and any of our images. Doesn't matter: Skinny, Thin, Slender, Curvy, Thick, Voluptuous... its ALL a sign of BEAUTY. Even more so when you can add glamour, sexy, and fun all together. What's NOT SEXY is UNHEALTHY. Be it ANOREXIC OR OBESE, because those two things are damaging to ones health, NOT self esteem. And even more sexy than all mentioned above: A CONFIDENT WOMAN.

And to Mr. "Those girls should stop eating cheesecake" - If you were educated in photography and art (I mean, c'mon, this IS DeviantART) you would know that "cheesecake" was and is a term for campy PinUp Photography and Modeling.

Nuff said!
